Looking for a fun, safe, and active children’s holiday club in Truro? Truro School’s Multi-Sport Activity Camp offers an exciting programme of action-packed activities for children aged 6–12 years, making it the perfect choice for school holiday childcare in Cornwall.

Packed with energy, adventure, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends, our popular holiday camp keeps children entertained throughout the day with a wide variety of themed sports and challenges. From bubble football and street surfing to quidditch, laser tag, pool inflatables, and archery, every day is different and designed to keep children active, engaged, and having fun.

Our experienced team provides a safe and supportive environment where children can build confidence, learn new skills, and create lasting holiday memories.

Daily Themes & Activities

This October half-term, each day brings a brand-new theme and a huge range of high-energy games and challenges. Activities on these themed days may include:

Ultimate Sports Challenge – Monday 26 October

  • Multi-Sport Skills & Speed Challenges: Dynamic agility tracks, team warm-ups, and skill-building sports trials.

  • Street Surfing Challenge: Master balance and board control in a fun, coached environment.

  • Dodgeball Championship: Fast-paced, action-packed team games.

  • Bubble Football Tournament: High-energy matches played in giant inflatable bubbles.

  • Giant Pool Inflatable Challenge: Splash into fun with our massive indoor pool obstacle course.

  • Ultimate Sports Grand Final & Awards: Celebrating teamwork, effort, and achievements.

Wizard Games – Tuesday 27 October

  • House Sorting Ceremony: Kick off the day by getting sorted into wizarding houses.

  • Broomstick & Quidditch Training: Learn flying skills, pitch positions, and house competition strategies.

  • Wizard Duels & Potions Challenges: Cooperative strategy games and magical team problem-solving.

  • Forbidden Forest Challenge: Immersive forest navigation and woodland adventure games.

  • Magical Pool Inflatable Challenge: An epic aquatic adventure in the pool.

  • House Cup Presentation: End the day with house points, awards, and the grand presentation.

Zombie Survival Academy – Wednesday 28 October

  • Zombie Outbreak Briefing & Nerf Training: Tactical target practice and emergency survival tactics.

  • Zombie Dodgeball & Escape Courses: Thrilling evasion games, obstacle courses, and fast-paced fun.

  • Laser Tag (Zombie Outbreak): Immersive, safe laser tag missions to defend against the outbreak.

  • Street Surfing Survival Challenge: High-energy board skills under pressure.

  • Zombie Escape Pool Inflatable: Conquer the pool obstacle course to beat the outbreak.

  • Survival Academy Graduation: Celebrate surviving the outbreak with official graduation awards.

Camp Details

Location: Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre at Truro School Senior or Truro School Prep

Dates:

Monday 26 October 2026 – Ultimate Sports Challenge

Tuesday 27 October 2026 – Wizard Games

Wednesday 28 October 2026 – Zombie Survival Academy

Age Range: 6–12 years

Cost: £37 per day

Lunch and Refreshments

Children should bring:

  • A healthy packed lunch
  • Snacks for the day
  • A refillable water bottle

What to Expect

Arrival

Registration takes place at the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre between 8:30am and 9:00am. A member of the holiday camp team will be available at the entrance to welcome children and complete registration.

Collection

Children should be collected from the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. A member of staff will be available to sign children out safely.

If you need to collect your child before the end of the day, please let a member of staff know during morning registration.

What to Bring

  • Please dress appropriately in trainers (no black soled shoes allowed in the sports hall), and suitable clothing for a variety of sporting activities.
  • Clothes suitable for outdoors
  • Swimming kit (costume, towel and googles)
  • Healthy snacks
  • Lunch (NO NUTS)
  • Filled water bottle
  • While children are welcome to bring mobile phones, we will ask them not to get them out of their bags unless they need to check for any messages at break or lunch time.
