BUSH CRAFT ADVENTURE DAY CAMP

(In conjunction with Under the Canopy Cornwall)

Bookings will go live from Monday 1st July 2024 at 10am. 

CAMP DETAILS:

A day of bushcraft and survival activities which include learning skills for shelter making, fire building, navigation, tool building and self reliance in the outdoors. The emphasis is on safe, enjoyable learning throughout the day whilst learning new skills in the natural environment.

DATES:

Monday 29th July, Tuesday 30th July, Thursday 1st August

Monday 5th August, Tuesday 6th August

Tuesday 13th August

Tuesday 20th August

AGE: 8-13 years old.

COST:

The cost of the camp will be £36 per day.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are working with a high calibre of experts from ‘Under the Canopy Cornwall’ who have a passion for exploration combined with leadership, knowledge and professionalism.

They are highly experienced outdoor adventure guides, leaders and teachers who have been chosen for their technical skills because they are excellent people, good listeners, empathetic and fun to be around.

All employees are required to have passed a DBS check before being employed with the programme. They are responsible for the health and welfare of all children. If a child is feeling unwell, the staff will contact the parent or guardian as soon as possible.

LUNCH:

Please ensure children bring a packed lunch, water bottle and any snacks.

CHECK IN/OUT INFO

Children should arrive at the Truro Prep school for registration between 0830-0845. All children should be collected between 1645-1700. If you need to collect you child earlier please let us know. If you collect your child/children after 1700 there will  be a £5 charge per child.

WHAT TO WEAR

We recommend participants wear old clothes suitable for the outdoors as they may get dirty and smell of smoke from being around a camp fire. We also recommend they bring a waterproof jacket and wellies/rough trainers.
