Cornwall Netball Camp

Looking for a netball camp in Cornwall where young players can develop their skills, build confidence and learn from experienced coaches? Truro School’s Cornwall Netball Camp offers high-quality netball coaching for children and teenagers in a fun, supportive and professional environment.

Led by experienced Level 2 coach Sian Morgan from Cornwall Netball and Ange Walker, Netball Performance Pathway Lead for Cornwall, this specialist holiday camp is designed to help players of all abilities improve their technique, game understanding and on-court confidence. Whether your child is new to netball or already playing competitively, the camp provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills, make new friends and enjoy an active day during the school holidays.

Participants will take part in a range of engaging coaching sessions focused on:

  • Defensive strategies and positioning
  • Shooting techniques and accuracy
  • Passing and receiving skills
  • Advanced attacking play
  • Match play and game scenarios
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Confidence building and player development

Sessions are designed to challenge and inspire players while ensuring they enjoy every aspect of the game.

About the Coaches

Sian Morgan

Sian is a Level 2 Netball Coach and PE Teacher with extensive coaching and playing experience. Prior to relocating to Cornwall, she was Head of Netball at Monmouth School for Girls, leading the first team to national success as double champions in both the Presidents Cup and National Urdd Competition.

Sian has also worked within the Severn Stars NPL franchise as Head Coach of the Monmouth Severn Stars Nova Performance Centre and served as South East Wales Under-14 County Coach. During her time at Exeter University, she captained the First Team and represented England Universities, as well as South East Wales at every age-group level.

Angela (Ange) Walker

With many years of experience in netball, Ange has been involved in the sport in a variety of roles, including as a player, PE teacher, and coach at Saints Netball Club. She is also excited to be taking on a new role as the Netball Performance Pathway Lead for Cornwall. Passionate about supporting young athletes in their development, Ange is committed to helping players build confidence and gain a deeper understanding of the game. This summer, she is looking forward to working with players of all abilities, developing their skills, enhancing their tactical awareness, and, most importantly, ensuring they have a fun, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

What to Expect

Arrival

Children should arrive at the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre for registration between 8:45am and 9:00am.

Collection

Children should be collected between 4:15pm and 4:30pm.

Throughout the day, players will participate in structured coaching sessions, skill development activities and match play, all delivered by experienced coaches who are passionate about helping young athletes reach their potential.
